| | Description: | Dustin Hoffman glänzt mit einer "meisterhaften Leistung" (Hollywood Reporter) in diesem mitreißenden Epos, das spielend zwischen Komödie und Drama wechselt.Im stolzen Alter von 121 Jahren erzählt Jack Crabb die Geschichte seines Lebens. Der christlich-liebevollen Obhut der aufreizenden Pfarrersfrau Mrs. Pendrake indes entflieht er rasch. In den folgenden Jahren versucht sich Crabb in etlichen Berufen und wird zu einem rastlosen Wanderer zwischen der Welt der Indianer und der Weißen.
