His touring band, which featured guitar-whiz James Burton, is smokin' here, and they generally keep the tempos at a steady pace. ā??Elvis Country (Iā??m 10,000 Years Old)ā?? marked the pinnacle of Presleyā??s brief artistic renaissance, which began with the 1968 Comeback Special on TV. Elvis had begun performing in Las Vegas, and on ā??Elvis Countryā?? you can feel the energy of a professional who is reinvigorated and hungry for an audience. It would be Presleyā??s last Top 20 album in the United States, until his death in 1977. Disc Two is the 1971 ā??Love Letters From Elvisā?? including the rare tracks "If I Were You" and "This Is Our Dance" plus the bonus tracks ā??The Sound Of Our Cityā?, ā??Sylviaā? and ā??Rags To Richesā?. - Originally released in '71, this remastered gem includes "There Goes My Everything / I Really Don't Want to Know," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On,"and "Funny How Time Slips Away" along with six bonus tracks including "Got My Mojo Working / Keep Your Hands Off of It" and more!Segments of the song "I Was Born About Ten Thousand Years Ago" are heard at the conclusion of each of the twelve selections originally featured on this album.
