| | Description: | Ruy und Tito sind begnadete Musiker. Tito pflegt seine Dreadlocks und seinen 54er roten Chevvy Convertible, der leider allzu oft ein Opfer der Schlaglöcher in den Straßen Havannas wird. Ruy, den die Frauen zärtlich, die Männer mitunter spöttisch Mulatto nennen, ist ein Fan von Iron Maiden und lässt auch sonst nichts anbrennen. Gemeinsam haben sie eine Band, die die Musik des anderen Kuba spielt, eine mitreißende Mischung aus Samba, Salsa und Blues, elektrisch verstärkt und begleitet von den harten Beats moderner Drums. In Ermangelung eines Tonstudios funktionieren sie das Wohnzimmer von Titos Großmutter um. Die Aufnahme der für den Durchbruch unerlässlichen Demo-Kassette wird zum Zeit und Nerven raubenden Abenteuer.Ebenso langwierig gestaltet sich die Suche nach einem Saal, in dem sie ihr erstes großes Live-Konzert geben können.
