Aloha adds the orchestral pop of the late '60s and the post-prog rock of the '80s to it's big-thinking, rhythm-rich repertoire. Engaging yet contemplative, Aloha crosses the experimental/populist divide. Long-time fans and will find a dreamy, layered soundscape to get lost in. Casual passers-by will find hooks to keep them standing by the speaker.This record was made in the fall of 2003 and the spring 2004 at Inner Ear Studios and Silver Sonya, Arlington, VA.
