Vinyl LP pressing. The 12-track EP is a musical expression of Jojo's continued honesty, vulnerability and transparency around mental health, tackling the different shades of it - including anxiety, depression, negative thoughts, relationship self-sabotage, and emotional immaturity. The first song released from the project "Worst (I Assume)" explores how toxic thoughts + negative patterns can easily turn into toxic behavior, how the past can sometimes seep into your present as a self-defense mechanism, and how oftentimes the wrong assumption can cause pain & suffering. Trying not to think about it is "capsule" collection because it's a time capsule and honest depiction into where Jojo was at the end of 2020 - a time when fear was creeping in and informing the way she viewed and how she perceived her reality. One of the central themes of the project is feeling trapped inside your own mind and the thoughts/feelings/emotions that can come from that. In addition to songs about romantic love, the project explores the love of self.

"Trying Not To Think About It" is an emotionally charged LP by JoJo that captures a deeply personal chapter in the artist's career. Across this record, JoJo blends modern R&B, soul and pop with intimate, confessional songwriting that deals with anxiety, heartbreak, healing and self-reflection. The warm, organic production places her powerful, expressive voice at the center, moving from fragile, stripped-back ballads to groove-driven mid-tempo tracks. As a vinyl release, this LP invites you to experience the dynamics, depth and nuance of her performance in an especially immersive, analog sound. The record feels like a cohesive, late-night listen: atmospheric interludes, flowing transitions and carefully sequenced songs make it ideal for uninterrupted play from start to finish.

JoJo, who first broke through worldwide as a teenager with hits like "Leave (Get Out)" and established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary R&B-pop, has built a reputation for emotional honesty and vocal virtuosity. Over the years she has earned critical acclaim for her ability to combine classic soul influences with a modern edge, and she has cultivated a loyal fanbase through both her studio recordings and her intense live performances. "Trying Not To Think About It" reflects an artist in full control of her craft, channeling personal struggles into mature, relatable songs.

The LP is released by Warner, one of the most influential and long-standing music companies in the world.
