Description:"Magic" war das letzte Album von Gillan und wurde von Ian Gillan selbst, Janick Gers (Gitarre), John McCoy (Bass), Colin Towns (Keyboards) und Mick Underwood (Schlagzeug) eingespielt. Erschienen im Oktober 1982, erreichte es Platz 17 der britischen Album-Charts und enthält die Hit-Singles â??Long Goneâ?? und â??Living For The Cityâ?? (eine Coverversion des Stevie Wonder-Klassikers). Nach einer Tournee, um das Album zu promoten, löste Ian Gillan die Band auf, um ein Jahr bei Black Sabbath zu bleiben, bevor er 1984 in die reformierte Mark 2-Besetzung von Deep Purple eintrat. Single LP wird auf 180 g schwerem Vinyl mit bedruckter Innenhülle präsentiert. -
