Disc One is debut album All Systems Go which hit #11 in the UK Indie Chart back in 1983. The second disc contains Writing On The Wall, the band's second album and a UK Indie Chart #6 smash also in 1983. Contains Indie Chart hit 'This Is The Age' (#21). Disc Three, Rarities 1981-84 does exactly what it says on the tin! From non-LP singles like 'Stab The Judge', 'Give Us A Future' (#28), 'Cum On Feel The Noize' (#11) and 'Visions Of Angels' (#39) through to rare early demos plus three previously unreleased studio demos of tracks intended for the scrapped third album. Booklet contains detailed liner notes plus pictures of all the relevant sleeves as well as many unpublished photos, clippings, memorabilia, etc... A lo largo de tres discos, este boxset recoge el periodo comprendido entre 1981 y 1984, reuniendo grabaciones clave, singles y temas representativos de los primeros años de la banda en plena efervescencia de la escena punk del Reino Unido. El contenido se caracteriza por un street punk rápido y crudo, con guitarras afiladas, coros para corear y letras directas, a menudo de tono social, que capturan la energía y el ambiente de los inicios de los años 80. Es una colección pensada tanto para seguidores veteranos como para oyentes que quieran adentrarse de manera completa en el material clásico de One Way System.
La selección de temas muestra la evolución del grupo, desde piezas más ásperas y urgentes hasta canciones estructuralmente más sólidas y con un fuerte componente melódico, sin perder nunca la actitud combativa típica del punk. El reparto en tres CDs permite seguir de forma ordenada esa etapa creativa, apreciar cómo se consolida el sonido del grupo y cómo su estilo adquiere personalidad propia dentro de la escena británica. De este modo, el boxset funciona como documento histórico de una época clave y al mismo tiempo como escucha intensa y vigente para los amantes del género.
