Blaze did a really nice job!! Following Bruce can be all kinds of pressure, but it seems like Blaze was very inspired by Bruce and respected his work with Iron Maiden. This is a dark album, but very good. It doesn't happen the first time you listen... you get attached to it after about three.

I like these albums (The X Factor and Virtual XI) by Iron Maiden, released during the time of Bruce Dickinson's temporary departure from the band. Melancholic and gloomy in their sound, but that makes you want to listen to them. In my opinion, The X Factor album is greatly underestimated. It's a pity that I haven't managed to get my own copy of this album yet — it's not widely available, and what is there is very expensive for me.
