Cybotron is widely regarded as one of the pioneering acts of Detroit electronic music. Emerging in the early 1980s, the project combined the influence of funk, Kraftwerk-like electronics and the atmosphere of industrial Detroit into a new, futuristic sound. Cybotron's tracks became an important blueprint for what would later be called Detroit techno and electro, and the group's work is frequently cited by producers and music historians as a cornerstone of modern electronic dance music. With "Enter," Cybotron cemented their reputation as visionaries whose influence can still be heard in techno, electro and experimental club music worldwide. | | | Producer: |
