Description:
Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1980 album that spawned the enormous hit single 'Funkytown'. Lipps Inc. Were from Minneapolis and primarily consisted of producer Steven Greenberg and Cynthia Johnson (former Miss Black Minnesota 1976). 'Rock It' was recorded and self-released as a 12" single in 1979 by Flight Records, Minneapolis and led to them signing with Casablanca Records later that year. Mouth to Mouth was released soon after and the rest is history.
Mouth To Mouth is the first album from the disco outfit Lipps, Inc.. This album is including the last world's great disco hit Funkytown. This CD reissue contains the original album with four bonus tracks.

Sadly can only give this album a One Star Rating.
Brilliant as the Sun itself when we are in Funkytown.
Heavy in techno automated syncopated drum machine on every other track.
Fortunately it gives you the extended play of Funkytown unlike a radio station so still have it as a must in a collection of pop music.
