EU-only two CD set. Several generations of UK rock 'n' rollers have a special place in their heart for Philadelphia's pint sized powerhouse, Charlie Gracie. From his debut on these shores in 1958 to his return in 1979 and almost every year since then he is embraced by old fans and new. This has to be the most comprehensive collection of his original singles yet released on CD, following his career from 1951 to 1962, and includes all his major US and UK hits, including "Butterfly" and "Wanderin' Eyes". Also included here are rare US radio broadcasts and performances from British TV's Six-Five Special.
Small mistake on the front cover, the recordings are from 1953 to 1963 and not from 1951 to 1962.
