Description:Since the band's inception in 1996, Nightwish have released eight full length releases, sold millions of records world-wide, and become one of the most popular female fronted, symphonic metal bands of all time. In 2015 Nightwish plan on carrying this successful formula forward and release their ninth full length album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful. Produced by Tero 'TeeCee' Kinnumen, Endless Forms Most Beautiful features album artwork by Finnish artist Toxic Angel and includes adult & children's choirs, collaborative work with esteemed orchestral arranger Pip Williams, session drum work by Kai Hahto of Winter sun (who is sitting in for the ailing Nightwish drummer Jukka Nevalainen), and a guest appearance by evolutionary biologist, writer, and atheist Richard Dawkins.

"Endless Forms Most Beautiful" is a CD album by the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, released under the renowned metal label Nuclear Blast. The record marks a creative high point for the band, combining bombastic orchestral arrangements, powerful riffs and cinematic soundscapes with lyrics deeply inspired by science, evolution and the wonder of life. Across its tracks, the album explores themes such as the origins of life, the beauty of nature and the human quest for knowledge, resulting in an immersive listening experience that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally stirring. The production is polished and expansive, allowing choirs, orchestras and metal instrumentation to blend seamlessly into a grand, soundtrack-like whole.

Musically, "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" showcases Nightwish's signature blend of symphonic metal, progressive elements and melodic hooks. Dynamic contrasts between quiet, atmospheric passages and majestic, heavy climaxes give the album a strong narrative feel, almost like a concept soundtrack about the story of life itself. The expressive female lead vocals are complemented by male vocal parts and choral layers, while the use of keyboards, orchestrations and folk-tinged details adds depth and color. This CD is ideal for listeners who appreciate ambitious, cinematic metal with a strong conceptual framework, and for fans who enjoy albums that reveal new layers with every listen.

Nightwish are one of the most influential and successful symphonic metal bands worldwide, having achieved multiple gold and platinum records and headlined major festivals and arenas across the globe. Over the years, they have helped define and popularize the symphonic metal genre with their combination of operatic and rock vocals, grandiose orchestrations and powerful songwriting. Their albums regularly enter high positions in international charts, and their extensive touring history has earned them a devoted global fan base. With works that have become genre classics, Nightwish are regarded as a benchmark for quality and ambition in modern metal.

Nuclear Blast, the label behind this release, is one of the leading independent heavy music labels in the world and is particularly known for its strong roster in metal and hard rock. Founded in Germany, the company has built a reputation for discovering, supporting and developing some of the biggest names in the metal scene. Nuclear Blast places great emphasis on high production values, elaborate physical editions and long-term artist development, making it a trusted brand for fans who value both musical quality and collectible releases. The partnership between Nightwish and Nuclear Blast underlines the album's status as a key release within contemporary metal.

The first album with Floor Jansen and it's a good one for sure. Really showcases her powerful vocals. The arrangements are some of the most epic Tuomas has ever composed. Not a bad song on this. Powerful, moving, melodic. Good balance of heavy songs and mellower folky ones. Quality throughout.

The eighth studio long-player from the Finnish symphonic metal outfit, Endless Forms Most Beautiful is also the first Nightwish outing to feature new vocalist Floor Jansen.
