 | | Description: | From Coccon To Buttergfly is an album by Maxophone, released in 2000. The album is a progressive rock 2-CD. - CD + DVDThe new Maxophone is a very special deluxe box set including a CD with 10 vintage tracks recovered from outtakes and alternate demo material from 1973-1975 (4 tracks are unreleased), plus a DVD with Maxophone live footage from a 1976 concert at RAI studios in Torino (RAI is the Italian national TV broadcasting company). All recordings have been carefully remastered: The songs on the CD were recorded on 4-tracks equipment. The DVD footage was professionally filmed by Italian TV in 1976, and has a bonus video track of Maxophone re-formed in 2005, playing one live track at Radio Popolare studios in Milano. The DVD also includes bonus features, such as interviews with group members.Producer/Music By: Roberto Giuliani and Sergio Lattuada

CD-1: A demo recorded in 1975 on an 8 track tape recorder. This was to be included in 2nd album.
CD-2: A demo recorded in 1973 (in English).
CD-3: A demo recorded in 1974 (in English).
CD-4: A demo made early in 1973 but not included in the album. This was recorded in a large room the band frequently practiced in (recorded in Mono).
CD-5: A demo recorded in 1975 (in English).
CD-6: A demo recorded in a recording studio in 1976 (sung without words). Intended to be released as a single cut from the 2nd album.
CD-7: A demo recorded in 1974 (in English).
CD-8: A demo made early in 1973 but not included in the album (recorded in Mono).
CD-9: A demo recorded on the same day as CD-6.
CD-10: A demo recorded in 1973 (in English).
DVD-1,2,3,5: Videos recorded in 1976 for a RAI Television programme called "Concertino".
DVD-4: An instrumental version of "Mercanti di pazzie" recorded in 2005.
DVD includes also a Photo Gallery and 20 minutes of interviews.
