This is not a collection of just classic legendary Soul singers, although you will find tracks by Aretha, Etta James, Irma Thomas, Gladys Knight and Cissy Houston's Sweet Inspirations scattered throughout. It is a compilation of ladies who laid down memorable vocals on Pop, Girl Groups, Motown, Rock n' Roll, Blues, Glam, Disco, and even Country-ish tracks, throughout the '60s and into the '70s. You will also find a scattering of great vocal performances from Aussie female artists; Bev Harrell, Little Pattie, Helen Reddy, Alison McCallum, Renee Geyer and Wendy Saddington.Australian Collection featuring international hits.
