"Venerable" is a powerful and uncompromising CD by Canadian noise rock/metal band KEN mode, released through the renowned independent label Profound Lore. Mixing caustic noise rock, hardcore intensity and touches of sludge and post-metal, this album is marked by razor-sharp riffing, dissonant textures and dynamic shifts between controlled chaos and brooding atmosphere. The songs are tightly composed yet volatile, combining complex rhythms, angular guitar work and aggressive vocals with a dense, organic production that emphasizes raw energy over polish. Lyrically, "Venerable" delves into themes of personal struggle, psychological tension and modern alienation, matching the abrasive sound with a stark emotional undercurrent. This CD edition offers the full album in a focused, high-impact listening experience for fans who appreciate heavy, challenging music that rewards repeated plays.
